SAJM currently accepts submissions by email. The Editorial Office will acknowledge receipt within five working days and assign a manuscript number.
- Prepare your files using the checklist below.
- Email all files as attachments to editorial@sajm.au.
- Use the subject line: SAJM Submission — [Article type] — [First Author Surname].
- In your cover letter, please:
- briefly state the work’s significance and fit with SAJM’s scope;
- declare any AI use (per the AI policy);
- indicate whether you would like to be considered for the First-Time and Emerging Authors mentoring pathway; and
- suggest up to three potential reviewers, and any you would prefer to be excluded (with reasons).
